As anyone who slings words for a living will tell you, typing is hard work. Finding the right words and forming them into strange new combinations is not for the faint of heart. It takes hours of solitary concentration, dawn to dusk and beyond (only the lighthouse keeper leads a more isolated life.) And it never takes a day off. Since writing takes such singular focus, few writers attempt to juggle two projects at the same time (switching narratives back and forth is a recipe for disaster) but I’m going to try. However, since time is not an infinite commodity, I’ve decided to change this blog to twice a week (Tuesday and Friday.) I hope this extra time will allow me to do both projects properly.
